I can feel it in my body, I can feel it in my soul."

Nature - Connection - Play

Giinagay and namaste! I am Ilka and my small yoga studio is called Tall Trees Yoga. Tall Trees Yoga is located in Hyland Park on the beautiful Mid-North Coast of NSW on Gumbaynggirr Jagun nestled under some impressive tall trees. Here I passionately share my love for yoga, kirtan, bodywork as well as shamanic healing. I am a qualified senior yoga teacher with 14 years of teaching experience. I also hold a Masters Degree in Vocational and Tertiary Education.  Through my playful nature I will help you connect with your inner child and most likely we will have some giggles together.

I am glad you're here and maybe you will become a part of my creation story. To find out more about me follow this link:

Kundalini Yoga Festival Australia

"Mantra Play - Playing with Mantra"

I am stoked to be facilitating a fun workshop at the Australian Kundalini Yoga Festival in November.

In my workshop we will explore the power of the Kundalini Yoga mantras in a playful setting. Through play we have the chance to create a nurturing connection with our inner child, which in doing so allows us to be inspired, spontaneous, alive and sensitive. This in turn will help us to be affectionately connected with all of humanity and nature. The inner union we can achieve through play and playfulness is an enormous source of power, which helps us to enhance our problem-solving skills, feel more confident in general, deepen social interactions and as such may help us ‘to find a way through any block’. Come and join us in the Byron Shire. Come as you are, come with an open mind and bring your inner child. To view the schedule and the many other facilitators click the button:
